The Eden Manifesto

Inspired by a paradise of the past with the same name where man and animal once lived in harmony, The Eden Manifesto is a movement that aims to show the reality of how people are treating wildlife in the tourism industry. Using its own belief system as a guide, it presents the possibility of an ideal world once again full of peace, to hearten people to become more responsible tourists. We believe that animals were not created specifically for our personal pleasure, and that we should have more respect for the creatures with whom we live on our planet.
PROJECT SHOWREEL
POSTERS
The posters direct audience to the social media page and website. The main copy consists of satirical questions meant to encourage the audience to rethink the way they treat and view wildlife. For instance, "felon or friend" — are these elephants felons to be caged up or friends to treat with respect? The posters can also be animated to double as digital advertisements. They will be placed in airports and possibly in travel magazines and in-flight magazines.
The posters, when animated, can also double as digital signages.
FLYERS
The flyers direct people to the website with a QR code, as well as links on tearable strips. From afar, the overall image will look like there is an animal behind bars. Every strip torn off, however, represents the gradual freeing of the animals.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Instagram is used to provide the audience with information and facts about wildlife tourism in bite-sized bits that are easy to understand and digest quickly.
WEBSITE
The website is where people can learn more about the Eden Manifesto. It serves to educate them about some of the world's most unethical tourist attractions.

There is also an interactive map, where they can learn more about Earth's 7 continents and the animals they are home to.

edenmanifesto.com also encourages visitors to sign up and take a pledge to be responsible tourists. Members are entitled to discounts off certain ethical travel agencies/tourist organizations/etc. Deals can be redeemed on the website after login.

Travel companies/facilities/organizations are also encouraged to form partnerships with the Eden Manifesto. Likewise, they are required to sign the pledge.

Lastly, the website includes an online store, where people may purchase the publication.
